Hi, my name is Glynis Fullwood. Welcome to my site.

I have been a licensed clinical social worker for 16 years.  My specialization has been providing services to survivors of trauma.  However, since being a mom, I have begun specializing in providing services to pregnant women and new parents.  Pregnancy and the first few months, even the first year, post-delivery can be really hard.  These months can be filled with such joy and anticipation, but can also be accompanied by stress and uncertainty.  During pregnancy, women often struggle with anxiety about their baby, their changing bodies, and their upcoming delivery.  Post-delivery, women and their partners may continue to have worries about their health, their new roles as parents, and how to care for their baby in addition to managing other life stressors.  This stage of life is a major adjustment, and it is not uncommon for one to experience related mental health issues such as peri-natal depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and/or post-traumatic stress disorder.
