My approach is client and strengths-based centered. Using cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, in addition to mindfulness and mindful self-compassion tools, and possible accelerated resolution therapy techniques, we will work together to help you tell your story, understand your new narrative as a parent, and shift unhelpful thoughts and beliefs so that you may feel like you are thriving on this journey of parenthood. 

During the first few weeks of post-partum, it can be tough.  While giving your body time to heal and adjusting to the new challenges of taking care of a little one, it can be hard to make it to the shower…much less an appointment to see someone about any distress you are experiencing.  If you need services during this time, please reach out and we can schedule a call in which we can chat about what you’re experiencing and needing and come up with an action plan to connect you with resources that best fit your current needs.

I have been specially trained by Postpartum Support International to provide therapeutic support to women (and their partners) experiencing peri-natal distress and/or disorders.  I am a member of PSI and a past volunteer on their helpline.
